Do not allow anybody into the working area whilst the
machine is in use. The working perimeter is minimum
15 metres and this is the danger zone.
Clean and remove obstacles from the working area
that could cause accidents prior to use.
Do not use accessories on this machine except those
recommended by the manufacturer as otherwise the
use of non recommended accessories could cause
severe damages to the user and to the machine.
7.1. HOLDING AND GUIDING THE MACHINE
Whilst working, hold the tiller firmly with
both hands on the handles.
Attention! do not use the machine with just one
hand.
Attention! the tiller an jump up or forwards
inadvertently, if the blades hit something hard that
is underground such as big stones, roots or trunks
or if the ground is too hard or if it is frozen. Always
hold the machine firmly with both hands.
Attention! Always keep an eye as to where the
electric cable is whilst working. Be careful not to cut
the cable with the blades and ensure that your feet or
any object get tangled with the cable.
7.2. WORKING WITH THE MOTOR TILLER
Start the tiller following the instructions in the manual.
Moving cutters will pull the machine forward, you
must maintain proper speed by more or less digging
the shaft into the ground.
Slowly move the tiller at the right pace to give the burs
time to break up the soil.
If the tiller sags and will not advance, move the
handlebar left and right until it comes free.
When working on slopes always stand a little higher
up the slope so that the machine is always below you.
7.2.1. TIPS FOR USE
A tillage depth of between 15-20 cm is generally
adequate, and there is seldom an advantage in going
deeper. Shallow tillage is often recommended for
areas with little rainfall to conserve moisture.
The secondary tillage is less deep than the main one,
it is enough to make 2 passes in a cross all over the
land.
7.3. AFTER USE
Once you stop using the machine, disconnect the
batteries from the machine.
7.4. BATTERY CHARGE
The supply voltage and current must comply with
the information on the nameplate of the charger.
Before using the battery for the first time charge it for
at least 1 hour for the 4 Ah and 40 min for the 2 Ah
To charge the battery, plug the charger into the mains,
the led will light up red. Put the battery in the charger,
the led will turn green and start blinking. The charger
LED will turn from flashing green to solid green
when the battery is fully charged. When the battery
is charged, remove it from the charger. If you leave
the battery in the charger and it is fully charged, the
charger will automatically turn off after 2 hours, with
the green LED still on.
If you insert the battery in the charger and the LED
starts flashing red, it means that your battery is
damaged or that the battery does not correspond to
this charger.
