4. Connect the Input-Output connectors in the plugs on the back of the UPS, ensuring the connection by inserting the
four orange fasteners in the appropriate seats.
5. Fasten the plastic protection cover to the frame with appropriate screws.
3.2.4 Emergency Power Off (EPO)
The UPS has an external normally closed contact (NC) that can be opened to activate the immediate stop of the UPS.
The EPO terminal is at the back of the UPS, on the EPO pins of the input/output connectors.
For the correct connection of the EPO, the skilled technician must comply with the following requirements:
- use a double-insulation cable of up to 10 meters in length;
- make sure that the switch used is galvanically isolated.
The electric characteristics of the EPO interface are the following:
- voltage between EPO terminals with open circuit: 12 Vdc.
- current between EPO terminals with closed circuit: 5 mA.
