Troubleshooting checklist
Feature
The device does not switch
on after connection to the
12 Volt socket (the green
LED does not light up).
The yellow LED (fig. 1 1,
page 3) lights up.
The green LED (fig. 1 1,
page 3) lights up, the yel-
low LED flashes very
slowly.
The green LED (fig. 1 1,
page 3) lights up, the yel-
low LED flashes slowly.

Possible cause
The cigarette lighter is
switched on via the ignition.
The battery voltage is less
than 10 V.
The device has over-
heated.
A fuse is defective (in the
inverter, under the positive
contact of the plug or else-
where in the vehicle).
The battery voltage is
below 10.5 V.
When under load, there is
poor contact in the 12 V
socket.
The device has over-
heated.
The constant load is too
high (the consumer unit
has a power consumption
of more than 100 W).
The starting current of the
power consuming device is
too high.
Remedy
Switch the vehicle ignition
on.
Charge the vehicle battery
(start the engine).
Switch off the consumer
unit, allow the inverter to
cool down and ensure bet-
ter ventilation.
Have an electrician replace
the fuse.
Charge the vehicle battery
(start the engine).
Clean the contacts.
Pull the device out of the
12 V socket and allow it to
cool down before you
switch it on again.
Reduce the constant load.
Compare the device power
with the maximum power of
the inverter.
