Close the step over the speaker baffle and check
clearance from step to baffle. If additional clearance

is needed open inner tailgate and loosen the two
hinge bolts on each side. Slide step away from
baffle and retighten hinge bolts. Recheck clearance
and make sure step still closes easily. Fig. 24
