Install the supplied foam onto both of the speaker baffles in the tracks indicated by the yellow lines in Fig.
18
Temporarily install the speaker baffle and loosely install all six supplied replacement bolts. The right side
baffle should overlap the left side baffle in the center. Fig. 19
Make sure the speaker baffle is perfectly mated to the tailgate and tighten the two center bolts.
Predrill the two pilot holes for the supplied fine-threaded screws using a 1/8 (.125) drill bit and then remove
the bolts and speaker baffle. Fig. 19
Note: Take care to control drill as it penetrates metal to avoid hitting wires.
Vacuum any metal shavings created during the drilling process from inside the tailgate.
Remove lights (if equipped) from factory cover panels and install into the speaker baffle.
Note: Lights are keyed and can only be installed one way. Do not force light into
speaker baffle incorrectly.
Repeat process for left speaker baffle
