2. INSTALLATION
The LRF-04 must be installed by a qualified person or firm, according to existing regulations
(ministerial order no. 21712 issued by the Spanish Development Ministry, dated 26/10/1999
for Spain). If not, the guarantee is annulled and
the malfunction of the unit or for any damage directly or indirectly caused to other units
connected to the LRF-04.
The LRF-04 is correctly installed by following these steps:
2.1 Connecting the LRF-04
In order for the LRF-04 to cover the entire sound chain, it must be inserted into the
reproduction chain between the mixing desk and the crossover (see diagram). The back
panel of the LRF-04 features symmetrical (XLR or Cannon connector) and non-symmetrical
(RCA connector) inputs and outputs.
It is vitally important to make sure that the electrical installation to which both the LRF-04 and
the equipment forming the reproduction chain are connected is earthed and complies with
low-tension regulations currently in force.
