    En el capítulo 2 se describen las características principales del RS-60 En el capítulo 3 se describe la información que ofrece el RS-60 en su panel frontal y en el visualizador externo DL-SE, en el caso que esté conectado. También se indica la manera de conectar la caja de relés REL-2 para utilizar el RS-60 como limitador acústico.

    RS-60 as a sound limiter. Chapter 4 tells you how to retrieve data from the RS-60 using a parallel printer. Chapters 5 and 6 give you advice on how to use the RS-60 correctly and how to make the most of its potential.

    The RS-60 allows you to programme the periodicity with which this information is stored (from 1 minute to 1 hour in 1-minute steps). The RS-60 memory stores the data measured over a minimum period of 2 months (when the periodicity of programmed data storage is of 1 minute).

     ON indicator The ON indicator remains lit up while the RS-60 is connected to the mains. When the unit is disconnected, the ON indicator goes out and the other indicators begin to flicker. The RS-60 has two programmable warning levels: pre-alarm and alarm, each level with a different limit.

    As indicated above, even when the RS-60 is disconnected from the mains it continues to function, and the mains indicator will go out. The indications shown on the front panel will remain the same, except that the OK and HIGH indicators will flicker.

When the sound pressure level is correct (below the corresponding limit), the relay connects terminals 1 and 2. When the corresponding limit is exceeded, the relay switches and connects terminals 2 and 3.

Außerdem wird beschrieben, wie der Relaiskasten REL-2 angeschlossen werden muss, um den RS-60 als Schallintensitätsbegrenzer zu betreiben.

Nur wenn der Sensor abgeklemmt bzw. an ihm herumhantiert worden ist oder wenn die Netzversorgung des RS-60 unterbrochen worden ist, sind die 2 Relais gleichzeitig aktiviert. Im vorliegenden Beispiel würde die Leuchtanzeige aufleuchten und die Musikanlage würde abgeschaltet werden.

    4. ABRUF VON DATEN Wie im Kapitel 2 bereits angemerkt wurde, können die im RS-60 gespeicherten Daten abgefragt und über einen parallel angeschlossenen Drucker ausgedruckt werden. Um diese Daten zu erhalten, braucht man nur einen entsprechenden Drucker an den Druckeranschluss an der Gehäusefront des RS-60 anschließen, woraufhin der RS-60 die Aufzeichnungsarten ausdrucken wird, die zu dem im RS-60 einprogrammierten Druckmodus gehören.

    O RS-60 mede o nível sonoro presente na sua actividade e informa, a todo o momento, se o nível sonoro medido é correcto ou supera o limite programado. Isto permite tirar da sua actividade o maior rendimento possível sem provocar incómodos desnecessários.
