The water filter cartridge is located in the
back upper fight cornm of the refi'igerato_
compm tment.
When to Replace the Biter
There is a reptacenmat indicator light for
the water filter car'nidge on the dispense_:
This light wilt turn orange to tell you drat
you need to replace the filter soon,
The filter caruidge sbotfld be replaced
when the zeptacement indicator light turns
red or if the flow of water to the dispenser
or icemaker decreases,
Installing the Filter Cartridge
If you are replacing the cartridge,
first remove the old one by slowly
turning it to the left, OonotpulI dowa_
on the caru-idge A small amount of
water may drip down,

Fill the replacenrent cartridge with
water from the tap to aIlow for better
flow fi"om the dispenser immediately
alter' insmltafion_.
Lining up d_e arrow on the cartridge
and the cartridge holder, place the
top of the new caruidge up inside
the holder: Oonotpush it up into
the holdm:,
Slowly mm it to the right until the filter'
camidge stopSr DONOT OVERrIGHTEN
AS yOU mrn fire cartridge, it _A1
automatically raise itself into position,
Cartridge will rotate about 1/4 turn,
Press and hold fire RESETWATERFILTER
pad on fire dispenser fbl3 seconds.
NOTE" A newb_instalted water filter
cartridge may cause water to spurt from
the dispenser:
Filter Bypass Plug
You must use the filter bypass plug
when a replacement filter cartridge is not
available. The dispensm and the icemaker
will not operate without the filter or filter
bypass plug
