Before installation
In order to avoid any damage, please switch off
the electrical devices and pull out the mains
before connecting the cables.
Installing the
loudspeakers
The L82A(HF) loudspeakers develop their homo-
geneous unadulterated tonal response especially
weil when positioned approximately at ear-level
and 2 metres apart from one another.
Mounting the loudspeakers
To mount the L82 A(HF) loudspeakers securely
we recommend that you use the brackets availa-
ble from Loewe as accessories.
Wall bracket (Loewe Stock No. 57221)
The loudspeaker can be mounted so as to pivot
horizontally and vertically.
Shelf bracket (Loewe Stock No. 57220)
for standing the loudspeakers on the shelf side-
ways-on.
L-Stand 1 feet (Loewe Stock No. 58493)
Foot for free-standing mounting of the loud-
speaker in the room.
Alternatively you can screw the loudspeakers to
the wall.
Wall mounting with screw
— Screw a screw (e.g. 5x35 mm) into the wall far
enough to leave about 5 mm projecting. For
stone walls use an appropriate plug
(e.g. 6x30).
— After connecting the power cable (,,AC input")
suspend the loudspeaker by the bracket on the
loudspeaker top.
Putting into operation
— Connect the cinch cable to the output of the
pre-amplifier or decoder.
— Ensure that the "Input Sensitivity" is turned
fully to the right (factory preset).
— Connect the power cable to the socket labelled
»AC Input".
— Connect the loudspeakers to 230VAC sockets
using the cables supplied.
— Start your pre-stage, decoder (TV-set) and your
L82 A (HF).
— Whilst your new loudspeakers are emitting a
signal, set the required base volume of each
loudspeaker to the position that suits you best
by turning the "Input Sensitivity" control.
Standby
After 5 minutes with no signal the loudspeakers
automatically switch to standby.
