must not be kept at the rear of the minibar.

Before first use
Clean the minibar inside and outside with
a damp cloth for hygienic reasons (see also
Cleaning and
maintenance).
Saving energy
• Only open the minibar as often and for as long as
necessary.
• Avoid unnecessarily low temperature settings.
• For optimal energy consumption, position the
shelves and drawers according to their position
on delivery.
• On a regularly basis, make sure the door seal still
fits properly.
• Clean dust and dirt from the condenser at regular
intervals.
Switching on
WARNING! Suffocation hazard
If children climb into unused minibars and
close the door behind them, they can suffo-
cate inside the appliance. If the minibar will
not be used for a longer period of time, take
the following precautions:
Remove the door.
Leave the shelves in place so that chil-
dren cannot easily climb inside.
WARNING! Damage hazard
• Ensure that the objects placed in the
minibar are suitable for cooling to the
selected temperature.
• Ensure that food or liquids in glass con-
tainers are not excessively refrigerated.
Liquids expand when they freeze and
can therefore destroy the glass contain-
ers.

• Ensure that the minibar is well ventilat-
ed so that any heat created can dissi-
pate. Otherwise proper functioning
cannot be ensured.
NOTE
• The empty minibar needs about 6 ...
7 h at normal ambient temperature to
reach the proper temperature in the in-
terior.
• A few water drops may form inside
the minibar if it has been cooling for
a lengthy period. This is normal be-
cause the moisture in the air condenses
to water when the temperature in the
minibar falls. The minibar is not defec-
tive. If necessary, wipe it out with a dry
cloth.

Place the minibar on a firm base.
2. Connect the connection cable to the AC mains
supply.
The minibar performs a self-test. After approx. 10 s
the interior light
(Fig.
minibar starts cooling the interior. If the self-test fails,
the interior lighting changes to a constant flashing.
Setting the temperature
To avoid food waste, note the following:
• Keep temperature fluctuation as low as possible.
Only open the minibar as often and for as long as
necessary. Store the foodstuff in such a way that
the air can still circulate well.
• The minibar is equipped with an automatic tem-
perature regulation function. Select the average
of the possible temperature values.
• Adjust the temperature to the quantity and type of
the foodstuff.
The minibar is equipped with an automatic temperature
regulation function. With the optional remote control
(Fig. ) the temperature can be set to 4 different levels
using 2 buttons.
With each press of the remote control buttons, the cool-
ing temperature switches between the possible values.
By pressing a button, a red LED illuminates on the re-
mote control as soon as a signal has been sent out.
