4-2. Attaching the camera,
lens and cables
When mounting a camera to the
pan-tilt head, take appropriate measures
to prevent the camera from falling or being
stolen.
1.
Place the camera on the camera
mounting plate and insert the guide
pin into the guide hole on the camera.
2.
After provisionally securing the
camera, be absolutely sure to use a
flathead screwdriver to tighten the
2 camera mounting screws securely.
3.
After mounting the camera, check
that it is firmly attached and that there
is no play.
4.
Connect the camera cable and lens
cable.

p Be sure to tighten all screws firmly with a
screwdriver or similar tool.
Adjusting slack in the drop-prevention
wire
The drop-prevention wire length allows for
some degree of slack.
Remove any slack after attaching the
camera to the pan-tilt head by twisting
the wire around as shown in the figure at
right, then firmly tighten the screw to fix it
in place.
