Troubleshooting

Symptom
No pan-tilt head
power.
No camera power.
The tally lamps
blink, and no pan/
tilt operations are
performed.
No communication
with the controller.
The unit rotates
in the opposite
direction to the
direction of its
operation from the
controller.
The video signals
are not displayed
properly.
Cause and remedial action
p Has the power plug of the AC adapter been
connected properly to the AC outlet?
p Has the AC adapter been connected properly?
Check the power plug and connections with the AC
adapter.
p Has the unit been connected properly to the
camera?
p Has the unit been connected properly to the
controller?
Check the connections with the camera and
controller.
p The safe mode function has been triggered.
Check for a collision with an obstacle or for an
overload condition.
p Has the controller selection switch been set
properly?
Check the switch setting.
p Has the installation direction switch been set
properly?
Check the switch setting.
p Has the cable compensation selector switch been
set properly?
Check the switch settings.
