HOLD button / backlight
Press the HOLD button to freeze the currently displayed value.
Press and hold the button to switch the backlight on or off.
Auto Power off
After about 15 minutes, the TV 222 switches off automatically to conserve battery life.
Transducer clamp jaws
Record the current flowing through the conductor.
Look for the marking on the current jaws to determine the current direction (DC measurement
only).
Open the pliers jaws, enclose a conductor and make sure that the jaws are closed correctly and
that there are no foreign bodies in the connection gap.
