7. Switching on the device/standby
 If the device is in mains operation, first set the ON/OFF mains switch on the
rear of the device to ON.
 To select the desired operating mode, set the operating mode switch to one of
the following positions:
MUSIC – Bluetooth mode/MicroSD/USB mode

– AUX – AUX mode
– CD – CD mode
– TAPE – Cassette mode
– FM/DAB – FM and DAB radio mode
– TAPE – Standby mode; cassette mode
 For mains operation, set the ON/OFF mains switch on the rear of the device to
OFF to switch off the device.
 If the device is being battery-operated, set the operating mode switch to
TAPE to switch off the device.
8. Volume
 Control the volume with the VOLUME /+ controller.
The volume level (e.g. U) is briefly shown on the display.
9. Radio
 Set the FM ST/FM/DAB switch to one of the following positions:
– FM ST – FM radio mode, stereo
– FM – FM radio mode, mono
– DAB – DAB radio mode
9.1. Setting FM stations
 Turn the TUNING controller to set the desired frequency. The frequency scale
indicates the selected frequency for the FM range.
9.2. DAB mode
9.2.1. Complete search
 Press the SCAN button to perform a station search.
9.2.2. Selecting DAB stations from the station list
 Select the desired station from the station list by repeatedly pressing the
DOWN or UP buttons.
 Press the ENTER controller to play the station.
