SERS
Warning! The laser beam potentially causes eye da-
mage. Do not look or stare into the laser beam.
▪ During use, do not point the laser beam at people,
directly or indirectly through reflecting surfaces.
▪ This laser complies with class 2 according to the re-
levant standard. The unit includes no servicing com-
ponents. Do not open the housing for any reason. If
the unit is damaged, have the damage repaired by an
authorized repair agent.
▪ Laser viewing glasses are not protective glasses
against laser radiation.
- Use protective equipment against noise,
dust and vibrations !!!

DESCRIPTION (A)
This machine is primarily intended for the sawing,
longitudinally
and
transversely,
chipboard, plywood, aluminium, tiles and stone held
in a fixed position. Please note that the blade pre-
installed in the saw as supplied is intended for use
with wood only. Any other use or modification to the
device shall be considered as improper use and could
give rise to considerable dangers. Not suitable for
professional use.

USE AND OPERATION
The ASIST equipment and machines are designed for
domestic or hobby use only.
The manufacturer and the importer do not recommend
to use this equipment under extreme conditions and at
high loads. Any other additional requirements must be
agreed upon by the manufacturer and the buyer.
BEFORE USE
WARNINGS! Always disconnected with the plug from
the mains socket before working. Danger of electric
shock.
Inserting / replacing the battery
▪ Open the battery compartment cover (16) with a mat-
ching slotted screwdriver.
▪ If necessary, remove the used battery.
▪ Insert a new 3V button cell in accordance with the po-
larity shown. Screw the lid of the battery compartment
cover (16) back on.
Checking base plate / blade guard
▪ Check the freedom of the movement of the base pla-
te (5) before each use.
▪ Activate the safety lock-out (1) and keep it in that po-
sition. Lower the circular saw. In this way you can test
the function of the base plate (5). It must move freely .
▪ After letting go, it must be move smoothly back to its
starting position of its own accord.
Selecting the cutting depth
We generally recommend setting the cutting depth to
approx. 2 mm more than the thickness of the material.
This ensures that you achieve a clean cut.
Set the cutting depth pre-selector (7) to the desired
cutting depth on the scale (6).
Fitting the rip fence
Loosen the screw for the rip fence (9) on the base pla-
te. Insert the rip fence (8) into the slot. Re-tighten the
screw for the rip fence (9).
Mounting / changing the saw blade
▪ Actuate the spindle lock (11) and use the hex key (15)
to loosen the tensioning screw (13) (turn clockwise to
open). Now remove the tensioning screw (13) and the
clamping flange (12) (see also Fig. B)
▪ Set the cutting depth to the max. position.
▪ Activate the safety lock-out (1) and keep it in that po-
sition. Swivel the base plate (5) upwards.
▪ Remove the saw blade (14).
▪ Fit the saw blade in the reverse order as described.
▪ Press the spindle lock (11) until it engages and use
the hex key (15) to tighten the tensioning screw (13).
▪ The arrow on the saw blade must correspond to the
arrow showing the direction of rotation.
Connecting the saw dust extractor
▪ Pushing the suction hose onto the dust extractor con-
nection (10) and lock it in place.
▪ Attach an approved dust vacuum cleaner to the suc-
tion hose
