Periodically check the cleanliness of the ventilation grilles: refer to
the following chapter on cleaning if dust or dirt accumulation is
found.
Do not cover the appliance with any heat reflective material (e.g. aluminium).
Doing so will lead to the appliance overheating, with the possibility of breakdowns and
danger to the operator or people nearby.
Do not use the appliance if the door or door seals are damaged: have the appliance
repaired by qualified technical personnel.
Do not use the appliance if one or more of the parts listed in the following chapter
are missing or damaged: contact your dealer for repair.
Periodically check the conditions of the parts making up the appliance, in
particular the power cord: if any anomalies are found, refrain from using the appliance
and contact qualified technical personnel.
Do not use abrasive sponges or aggressive detergents for cleaning operations:
refer to the following chapter for complete requirements.
Cleaning operations must be carried out taking care to disconnect the appliance
from the power supply: refer to the following chapter for the relevant requirements.
Cleaning must be promptly carried out when necessary. Delaying or overlooking
cleaning could result in damage or deterioration of the surfaces and operation of the
appliance.
Do not use water vapour for cleaning, whether generated directly by the appliance
or using steam guns or other types of appliances, including pressure washers or water
jets.
The appliance must be connected to a compliant electrical system. The electrical
system must have a power rating equal to or greater than that of the appliance and
must be earthed. The power socket must be easy to access, even with the appliance in
operation.
Before connecting the power plug to the socket, make sure that the voltage of
your household installation corresponds to the voltage indicated on the appliance.
Only connect the cord if it is perfectly rolled out and free of knots.
Do not connect the appliance to extension cords, power strips, multi-socket strips,
timers, controlled sockets or other devices that can start it up independently.
If the appliance is not to be used for a prolonged period of time, it is advisable to
unplug the power cord from the socket: this will extend the life of the appliance and
help reduce energy consumption.
Do not disconnect the power supply by pulling on the cord: grasp the plug firmly
with one hand, place the other hand on the frame of the electrical outlet and
disconnect with a quick, sharp movement.
