ISM GROUP 2 CLASS B APPLIANCE
This appliance belongs to Group 2, Class B according to the Harmonised Technical
Standard EN 60601-1-2.
Group 2 includes all ISM appliances (industrial, scientific and medical) in which radio
frequency energy is intentionally generated or used in the form of electromagnetic
radiation to treat materials, in machining and arc welding equipment and electro-
discharge machining appliances.
A class B appliance is suitable for use in all buildings, including residential buildings and
those directly connected to the low voltage grid that powers residential buildings.
