3. Using your Wood's air purifier
• Mount the air purifier to a wall or place it on a level ground in the middle of the room. If you mount the unit to a wall, make sure
that the wall is able to hold the weight of the air purifier. Please refer to Fig. C for more information.
• Fasten two screws to the wall according to the holes on the back of the unit. Hang the unit on the screws.
• Connect the unit to a power outlet.
• Switch the air purifier on and adjust the fan speed by turning the speed knob clockwise. The speed knob is located on the side of
the unit benith the front cover. (see Fig. A).
• When the air purifier is running, you can feel the air flow from the top of the unit.
• For best results, leave the air purifier running continuously, even during the night or when you leave the house.
• The filter in the unit needs to be replaced regularly, at least once every six months. Read more about replacing the filter below.
• For best results, place the air purifier in the centre of the room. Make sure that the air flow isn't blocked.
4. Workings of your Wood's air purifier
The Wood's TALL 150-series circulates the air through the room with a fan, taking in air from its bottom side and exhausting clean air
from its top. For optimum air purification, it is usually recommended that the air purifier is powerful enough to circulate the air through
the room twice every hour. This unit is therefore recommended for rooms up to 30m
ing environment, for example very dirty rooms or rooms where people smoke, you need to circulate the air more often. The maximum
working area might therefore be smaller than in a less demanding environment. A demanding environment will also affect how often
you need to replace the filter in the unit. We therefore recommend that you check the filter regularly and replace the filter when
needed. Please refer to the filter chapter below for more information.
When the air is circulated in the room and passed through the ionization part of the air purifier, the particles in the air are given a posi-
tive charge. When the air passes through the air purifier, the charged air particles are drawn to the Active ION HEPA filter where they
stick. This technique is not only very efficient, it also allows for a low filter density. By using an electrical charge to separate the particles
from the air, Wood's doesn't have to rely on the density of the filter to receive a high level of purification. This means that no noisy and
energy consuming fans are needed to circulate the air, which is needed in purifiers using traditional filters of the same capacity.
5. Cleaning and filter maintenance
Wood's air purifiers are easy to clean and maintain. If needed, use a damp cloth to clean the outside of the purifier. Avoid using
solvents or strong cleaners as this may damage the surface of the air purifier.
Filter change
The Active ION HEPA filter in the Wood's TALL 150-series needs to be changed regularly due to its ionization. To receive the full, 10
years warranty make sure to change the filter at least once every six months. However, the filter may need to be replaced more
often depending on the environment. The filter also has a status indicator that shows when it needs replacing.
1.
Switch the air purifier off and unplug it from the power outlet.
2.
Open the air purifier by lifting up the front latch.
3.
Remove the consumed filter.
4.
Insert a new filter as marked by the arrows on the filter.
5.
Close the air purifier and reconnect it to the power outlet.
Access the filter by lifting up the front latch of the unit. Please refer to Fig. B for more information.
