Maintenance and care
The risk of injury from hot water can arise in the
event of:
Incorrect installation,
Closed pressure side,
Lack of water in the suction line, or
Defective pressure switch.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and allow the pump and water to cool down.
2. Check the pump, installation and water level.
3. Put the pump into operation again only after
all the faults have been remedied!
7 MAINTENANCE AND CARE
7.1
Check the air pressure in the storage
vessel
NOTE Check the air pressure in the storage
vessel at regular intervals. It must not exceed 1.5
bar (see Section "Commissioning: Checking the
Air Pressure in the Storage Vessel").
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and secure to prevent restarting. The pump
stops automatically.
2. Open a shut-off device (valve, spray nozzle,
water cock) in pressure line (10).
3. Drain water until the pump is completely
empty.
4. Open the cover on the rear of the storage
vessel.
5. Check the air pressure at the valve using an
air pump or tyre filler equipped with a pres-
sure gauge. Correct the air pressure, if nec-
essary.
6. Close the cover on the rear of the storage
vessel again.
7. Put the pump into operation again.

Cleaning the pump
NOTE After conveying swimming pool water
containing chlorine or fluids that leave residues,
the pump must be flushed out with clear water.
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and secure to prevent restarting. The pump
stops automatically.
2. Flush the pump with clear water.
3. Insert the mains plug into the power socket.
4. Turn on the pump at the on / off switch. The
pump starts automatically.
7.3
Remove blockages
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains supply
and secure to prevent restarting.
2. Disconnect suction line from pump inlet.
3. Connect pressure line to the water line.
4. Allow water to run through the pump housing
until the blockage is removed.
5. Switch on the pump briefly to check whether
it runs smoothly.
6. Put the pump into operation as described.
8 HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION
DANGER! Danger of electric shock!
There is a risk of electric shock when working on
the pump.
Disconnect the mains plug before starting
any fault remedying work.
Faults in the electrical system must be recti-
fied by a qualified electrician.
NOTE In the event of faults that you cannot
rectify, please contact our Customer Service de-
partment.
Remedy
Cleaning the pump. Release the mo-
tor shaft of the impeller with a screw-
driver.
Check the water level on the suction
side. Allow the conveying fluid to
cool down. Repair or replace the
pump.
Check fuses, have the power supply
checked by a qualified electrician.
