Switching on and off
The CBA47 can be switched on and off as
follows:
Switching on/off with the ON/OFF
button
Ñ
For switch-on, briefl y press the ON/OFF
button 1.
The blue dot in the button and the button
illumination light up.
The previous settings are activated.
The device plays with the volume previously
listened to.
Note:
For safety reasons, the volume at
switch-on can be lower than the
volume at switch-off.
Ñ
To switch off the device, press the
ON/OFF button 1 for longer than
2 seconds.
Switching on/off with micro-
phone 1
Even if the device is switched off, you can still
switch the CBA47 on and off using micro-
phone 1.
This requires that the microphone is properly
connected to the CBA47 (chamber D).

Connecting the sources
For playback in the cabin area, you can
connect a radio, CD player or CD changer and a
video player as an external source to the
CBA47.
After switching on the CBA47, the radio
connection (chamber C1 pin 6) is supplied
with +12 V.
Note:
When connecting the voltage of the
radio to the CBA47, also observe the
connection notes in the operating
instructions of the radio. No
loudspeakers may be used directly at
the radio.

Switch on the radio.
The playback of the radio occurs only in the
cockpit area.
Ñ
First, adjust a base volume and the sound
playback (for the cockpit) at the radio.
Source selection
The buttons VIDEO 6, AUDIO 7 and
AUX 9 are used for source selection in the
cabin area.
The selected source is indicated by an
increased brightness of the button.
Radio source
To select the radio playback in the cabin area
press the AUDIO button 7.

To select the CD player or CD changer playback
in the cabin area
