Microphone announce-
ments
You can connect two microphones to the
CBA47. The inputs (chamber D) are each fi tted
with a switch input.
General
Microphone 1 (driver microphone) has priority
over Microphone 2 (passenger microphone).
Even if the CBA47 is switched off, you can
switch the device on and off using micro-
phone 1.
Microphone announcements are made in the
cabin area.
During an announcement with microphone 1,
the selected source is muted. It is not possible
to change the source.
The volume of the microphone announcement
is adjusted with the buttons VOLUME CABIN
+/– :.
The adjusted volume is saved.
If a microphone is deactivated, the device
changes back to its original state.

Mix mode
Microphone 2 allows you to perform a mix
mode in the cabin area using the selected
source (karaoke function).
Ñ
Select the desired playback source:
radio, AUX or video.
Ñ
Switch on microphone 2.
(Microphone 1 must be switched off)
Ñ
Adjust the microphone volume with the
buttons VOLUME CABIN +/– :.
Ñ
Start the playback of the selected source.
The buttons MIX +/– 5 can be used to
Ñ
reduce the volume of the selected source
between 100% and 0 (mute).
Ñ
Correct the microphone or source volume,
if necessary.
Ñ
To end the mix mode, switch of micro-
phone 2.
