5.1 Adjusting the channel
As some frequencies may already be used by
other wireless transmission systems at the
place of operation, it is recommended to
leave the transmitter switched off while the
channel of the receiver is adjusted in order to
make sure that the transmission channel
selected is free and no interference will occur.
1) Press the button SET (8) until the channel
indication on the display (7) starts flashing.
2) While the channel indication keeps flash ing
(for approx. 10 seconds), the arrow buttons
(6) allow to select the channel: button
upward selection of the channel; button
for downward selection of the channel.
3) Confirm the channel selection with the
button SET (8). If the selection is not con -
firmed within 10 seconds, the receiver will
switch back to the previous channel.
If the LED (2) shows green after the
channel adjustment when the transmitter
is switched off, interference signals or sig-
nals from transmitters of other wireless
systems are received. In this case, set the
receiver to a different channel.
4) When an interference-free channel has
been selected for the receiver, switch on
the transmitter and set it to the same chan-
nel (→ operating instructions of the trans-
mitter).
Note: In case of transmitter ATS-16T, the
channels are marked 0 to F:
Channel 0 corresponds to channel CH 1,
Channel 1 corresponds to channel CH 2,
...
Channel F corresponds to channel CH 16.
During operation it is possible to shortly in -
dicate the radio frequency for the channel
adjusted: As long as the button
kept pressed, the display will indicate the fre-
quency instead of the channel.
