USAGE
You can boil 8-16 eggs or poach 4 eggs with this egg steamer.
Boiling eggs
1. Fill the provided measuring cup with the recommended amount of cold water (refer to the section 'Preparation and
required amount of water') and pour water into the heating tray.
2. Carefully pierce the eggs blunt end with the piercing tool and place them with the pierced side up on the eggs tray. Thus
the risk of cracking the eggs during the cooking process is reduced.
Warning! Risk of injury!
Hold the measuring cup carefully, as the piercing tool is very sharp.
3. Place the egg tray with the eggs correctly on the heating pan, then close the lid.
4. Plug into a properly installed electrical outlet.
5. Switch on the appliance with the on / off button to the desired time setting. Please refer to 'Preparation time' . The indicator
lights on.
6. The water starts to heat up. The alarm beeps at the time set or when the water has evaporated. The indicator light starts
flashing.
7. Turn the button off to switch off the appliance and take the plug out of the socket.
8. Carefully lift the appliance lid by the handle. Be careful as the steam is hot.
9. Lift the egg tray by its handle and rinse the eggs with cold tap water. The eggs are now ready to serve.
Note: If you want to boil more than 8 eggs, on the first egg tray place the steamer and then within it the second egg tray and
follow the steps above.
Note: We recommend using medium-sized eggs. Depending on the number, size and how fresh the eggs are, the cooking results
may vary slightly. Moreover, if the eggs are not removed immediately after stopping the cooking process, they will continue to
boil.
Poaching eggs
1. Fill the provided measuring cup with the recommended amount of cold water (refer to the section 'Preparation and
required amount of water') and pour water into the heating tray.
2. Break one or more eggs in the poaching tray.
3. Place the egg tray (without eggs) on the heating tray and over it the poaching tray.
Or
Install the steam compartment, place the second egg tray and then the poaching tray.
4. Close the lid and plug in a properly functioning electric outlet.
5. Switch on the appliance with the on / off button to the desired time setting. Please refer to 'Preparation time' table. The
indicator lights on.
6. The water starts to heat up. The alarm beeps at the time set or when the water has evaporated. The indicator light starts
flashing.
7. Turn the button off to switch off the appliance and take the plug out of the socket.
8. Carefully lift the appliance lid by the handle. Be careful as the steam is hot.
9. Lift the poaching tray and serve the eggs.
