11. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Please, unplug your appliance from outlet before cleaning. Pour some
water into the coffee pot and shake it.
NEVER clean the coffee pot by
immersing it in water or washing it in the
dishwasher.
Wipe the main body of your appliance,
including the energy transmission base
outside the coffee pot, only with a
dry or damp cloth, NEVER clean it by
immersing it in water or washing it in the
dishwasher.
Do not clean any accessories of your machine using harsh and
chemical cleaners (bleach, salt spirit, etc.) other than the cleaners used
for this type of equipment. Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal objects,
scratching hard sponges, wire cleaners or hard brushes to clean the
appliance.
Cleaning Suggestion After Preparing Turkish Coffee with Milk and
Beverages with Milk
You can also brew milky beverages such as milk coffee, hot chocolate
and salep in our product. After brewing such beverages, rinse the coffee
pot with water. The coffee pot rinsed with water will cool down a bit.
Then remove the stirring apparatus inside and wipe the inside of the
coffee pot with the cleaning brush provided with your device or with a
soft material such as a dishwashing sponge or cloth to easily clean the
residue* without using chemicals such as detergents.
You may wash the removed mixing apparatus under the tap. Put the
cleaned apparatus back to its place and make the product ready for
use. Make sure that the apparatus is fully seated. If it is not fully seated,
it may cause splashing.
*The cleaning of the residue/crust part will vary according to the
material used, the amount of material, and the waiting time after
brewing.
Removing Calcification
Lime inside the water used in time may pile up inside the coffee pot and
thus may reduce the performance of your appliance.
