OPERATION AND TEST
Ensure that the area is well ventilated before performing a test.
Make sure that the battery connections are clean. If necessary, clean
them using a wire brush. Any presence of oxidation between the tester
terminals and the battery connectors or between the battery connectors
and the battery terminals reduces the effectiveness of the tester.
If the battery is out of the vehicle:
Connect the negative plug (black) to the negative terminal of the battery.
Connect the positive plug (red) to the positive terminal of the battery.
If the battery is in the vehicle:
As there may be some electricity between the generator and the battery,
called floating electricity, if the battery tester is connected directly to
the battery, only the floating power will be tested, not the power inside
the battery, so the result is inaccurate.
Therefore, before connecting the tester to the battery, it is better to
ignite first, turn on the headlights to remove the floating electricity. After
that make sure that the ignition and the consumers are switched off.
Connect the negative plug (black) to the negative terminal of the battery.
Connect the positive plug (red) to the positive terminal of the battery.
Once the battery tester is well connected to the battery, the display will
light on to indicate tester version and battery voltage.

Select battery type:
After the battery test selected, the battery tester will prompt to
select battery type, i.e. Regular Flooded, Lithium Ion ,AGM Flat Plate,
AGM Spiral, Gel and EFB battery.
Press UP/DOWN key to select battery type, then press ENTER key
to confirm.

Battery system standard and rating:
The battery tester will test each battery according to the selected
system and rating.
Use UP/DOWN key to select according to the actual system standard
and rating marked on the battery.
