quick-connect adapter (not included). (Fig. E)
12. Open the water valve of the installation and adjust the
water flow with the valve on the machine.
13. To close water flow, turn the value to the perpendicular
position and close the installation's water valve. (Fig.
D-12)
WARNING! Before starting, make sure that the dust
cover is in its proper position. If not, the functioning of
the water feed system could be affected, reducing the
blade cooling capacity.
Connection of the suction system:
Direct connection with RUBI vacuum
14. The RUBI CLEAR DUST EXTRACTOR M vacuum cleaner
can be attached directly to the tool with the included
adapter.
15. Remove the suction intake and insert the vacuum nozzle
into the machine's air intake. (Fig. F)
Connection with an adapter
16. To connect vacuums not specified in the previous
section, a universal adapter (included) must be used.
17. Remove the suction intake and insert the universal
adapter into the machine's air intake. Then, the hose of
the vacuum that you wish to use. (Fig. G)
18. The diameters that are compatible with the use of the
universal adapter are Ø37, 42 and 50 mm.
¡WARNING! Check that your vacuum cleaner has a filter
for wet suction, and that is properly mounted. Otherwise,
don't use vacuum cleaner together with the open water
supply.
Adjusting the cutting depth:
19. Loosen the depth adjustment lever (counter-clockwise)
to release the position of the machine.
20. Adjust to the desired cutting depth using the depth
reference scale, and tighten the lever (clockwise) to
secure the position of the head. (Fig. H)
Adjusting the cutting angle:
21. The mitre cutting mechanism allows you to adjust the
cutter angle from 0 to 45°. For more precise cutting, use
the marks on the chassis support.
22. Turn the lever counter-clockwise for mitred cuts. The
system will be unlocked to allow adjustment. (Fig. I-9)
23. Turn the cutter head to the desired cutting angle. For
greater precision, you can use the angle marks on the
front of the frame, lining up the mark for the desired
angle with the pointer at the end. (Fig. I)
24. Once the cutting angle has been set, turn the lever
clockwise to lock the cutting position.
NOTE: for a square cut, turn the cutter head to the 0º
position, so that the blade is perpendicular to the piece
being cut.
WARNING! When adjusting the cutter, make sure
that the side guard pivots automatically. When you
are finished cutting, put the side guard in its original
position. (Fig. I-8)
Slim Cutter rail system:
Using the TC-125 quick-set clamps
25. The SLIM SYSTEM guide system, included in the TC-125
KIT, allows you to use the cutter to make precise, square
and clean cuts, while at the same time protecting the
surface of the ceramic being worked against damage.
26. The TC-125 KIT includes 2 quick-set clamps to hold the
guide profile to the work piece. Using these elements
guarantees that the profile is firmly secured to the work
piece, allowing for a safe cutting operation.

27. To install the clamps, insert the rod into the guide rail of
the profile as shown in the image. Then adjust the height
if the handle of the clamp and secure it to the work zone.
(Fig. J)
Use of SLIM CUTTER suction cups
WARNING! Make sure to clean the surface of the work
piece before positioning the Slim Cutter suction cups.
28. If the work piece is long, the use of suction cups is
recommended to reduce the risk of the shifting of the
guide during cutting.
29. To optimise the cutting zone, the suction cups must
be distributed evenly along the central section of the
guide. This ensures that the profile is in contact with the
work piece at all times. (Fig. K)
30. To install the suction cups, insert the anchor nut into the
guide rail of the profile as shown in the image. (Fig. L) .
31. When the suction cup is in the correct position, secure it
to the work surface, pressing the handle as shown in the
image. (Fig. LL)
Securing the cutter to the SLIM CUTTER guide
profile
32. Insert the machine through one of the ends of the
guide as shown in the image (there is only one possible
position). (Fig. Q)
33. If you notice that there is some play between the cutter
and the guide, or that it is difficult to slide, you will need
to adjust the set of wheels.
Preliminary checks:
WARNING! Do not use the cutter if the PRCD protection
indicator does not light up. It may be damaged and
should be replaced.
34. Verify that the voltage of the power supply matches
the voltage and frequency specified on the machine's
characteristics tag.
35. 230 V machines may also be connected to 210V / 240V.
110 V machines may be connected to 100V / 120V.
36. Before using the machine, check for any worn, damaged
or broken parts and immediately repair or replace any
that are found.
37. If the blade is installed incorrectly and is working in the
wrong direction, stop the machine and correct the blade
installation.
38. Use only the blade diameters indicated in this manual,
between 115 and 125 mm.
3.2 Staring the machine
PRCD unit (Electronic overload protection):
NOTE: The cutter is equipped with a PRCD unit installed
directly on the power supply cord. Verify that it is
functioning correctly before cutting.
39. Plug the PRCD unit into an electrical outlet. The green
indicator light should light up.
40. Press the "TEST" button. The indicator light should go out.
41. Press and release the "RESET" button. In this case, the
green indicator light should light up. (Fig. R)
42. If, during cutting, the machine reaches load level close
to the overload level, the PRCD device will be triggered
and will stop the cutter. If this happens, release the on/off
switch and set the machine to its highest position (outside
of the cutting zone) and wait for at least 3 seconds before
continuing.
Proper position of the hands:
WARNING! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury,
hold the machine with both hands at all times to prevent
any sudden movements from it.
