43. To make square cuts, position yourself behind the
machine. Put one hand on the main handle and slide the
cutter in the guide. For greater comfort, place the other
hand on the suction intake cover. This provides better
balance and sliding of the cutter.
Mitred cut
44. For mitred cuts, position yourself parallel to the blade.
Place your right hand on the main handle and the left
hand on the secondary handle.
Square and 45º angle cuts:
45. The cutter has a mark for the square cut and another for
45°, as shown in the image. (Fig. S)
46. There is also a reference measurement to facilitate the
positioning of the guide (30mm).
47. These indicate the blade position during the cutting
operation in different situations: 0º and 45º.
N.B.: the system should used with standard blades, NOT
reinforced blades.
Connection:
48. For safety reasons, the on/off switch of the tool is
equipped with a safety button to prevent the machine
from turning on unexpectedly.
49. To start the cutter, press the safety button on the top of
the switch. The on/off switch will now be free to start up
the tool.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury,
support the work piece correctly, as shown, and hold the
cutter firmly to avoid losing control and prevent potential
kickback.
50. Keep your hands and the power cord away from the
cutting zone to prevent it from being snagged or tangled
on the piece being cut.
51. Put the machine in the proper position on the guide
profile.
52. Adjust the depth and cutting angle of the machine.
53. When the blade is not yet in contact with the piece to be
cut, press the safety button and then the on/off switch,
allowing the machine to reach its maximum speed.
54. Holding the machine firmly in both hands, push it
forward slowly until the blade comes into contact with
the piece being cut and advance until the cut has been
completed.
WARNING! Do not apply pressure on the machine during
the cutting operation; the machine should slide smoothly
on the guide profile.
Disconnection:
55. Release the on/off switch to turn the machine off.
56. The cutter will continue to rotate for a few moments
after it has been turned off. Wait until the machine is
completely stopped before removing it from the cutting
position.
57. Remember that the cutter must be unplugged from
the power installation when moving from one work
zone to another and when carrying out adjustment and
maintenance operations.
3.3 Cleaning and maintenace
WARNING! Unplug the machine before carrying out any
adjustments, repairs or maintenance.
Proper cleaning and maintenance of the machine can extend
its lifetime.
58. Do not submerge the machine in water.
59. Keep the ventilation slots clean and open to guarantee
sufficient cooling. Blocked ventilation slots can damage
the machine.
60. For optimum cleaning, wipe the machine with a damp
cotton cloth. In all cases, avoid the use of solvents

and certain types of cleaning agents with this type of
components.
61. Examine the machine's cords periodically and if they are
damaged, have them repaired by an authorised technical
service.
62. Keep handles dry and clean and free of grease and oil.
63. We recommend cleaning the rolling tracks of the guide
with a cotton cloth dampened with water. Do not lubricate
the guides. (Fig. T)
64. The cutter comes with a second set of brushes. Check the
brushes for wear and, if necessary, replace them with new
ones as described below:
- Unplug the machine from the installation and wait for
the blade to stop completely.
- Remove the brush-holder plugs with a flat-head
screwdriver (turning counter-clockwise, tool not
included) and replace the brushes.
- Make sure that they are properly aligned and can slide
freely.
Adjustment of the depth lever:
65. The depth-adjustment lever is adjusted at the factory.
If the lever does not lock the cutter head, carry out the
following steps:
66. Put the cutter in its lowest position and remove the screw
indicated in the image (turning counter-clockwise).
67. Release the lever and turn the grooved shaft until it stops.
(Fig. U)
68. Mount the lever oriented at approximately 45° and secure
the retaining screw (clockwise).
69. Check that the lever locks the head position and that the
lever is it approximately 30º (see image). (Fig. V)
Adjustment of the mitre lever:
70. The lever for mitred cuts is installed and adjusted at the
factory. If the lever does not lock the cutter head, carry
out the following steps:
71. Put the cutter in its lowest position and remove the
locking washer that releases the lever and remove it.
72. Tilt the head at a 45° angle and tighten the hexagonal nut
until the system is locked (clockwise).
73. Once again, position the adjustment lever approximately
as shown in the image.
74. Insert the locking washer into the slot of the hexagonal
nut and verify that the system works correctly. If not,
repeat the operation. (Fig. W)
75. Verify that when the lever is in the mitre cutting position
that there is no interference with the side guard.
Adjustment of the eccentric bearings
76. There are only two wheels for adjusting the play of the
cutting head (see image). (Fig. X-22)
77. Block rotation of the screw with a flat-head screwdriver
while loosening the nut with a 10 mm flat spanner in a
counter-clockwise direction (tools not included). (Fig. X)
78. Turn the screw until the wheel makes contact with the
guide. (Fig. Y)
NOTE: More pressure reduces the smoothness of sliding
and the amount of play. Less pressure increases the
smoothness of sliding, but also the amount of play. The
perfect adjustment is the balance between the two
configurations.
79. Hold the screw and at the same time tighten the nut in a
clockwise direction. (Fig. Z)
80. Check that the correct amount of play has been set.
Repeat the above procedure if necessary.
Storage
Store the tool in its packaging in a cool, dry place
protected against cold and direct sunlight.
The machine must be put out of service and dismantled
in accordance with the instructions in each country, at a
selective collection point for the proper classification and
processing of the materials.
