Spare parts
The leather parts on the headphones can be
replaced if necessary. You can purchase
spare parts (A223 820 06 04) from your
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre.
Removing leather parts
Pull the leather parts from the earpieces
X
and band.
Fitting spare parts
! Make sure that the spare parts for the
earpieces are positioned in accordance
with the designation „L"/„R" and aligned
so that they fit flush
Align the leather parts and press them in
X
place until the retainers engage audibly.
What should I do if...?
Malfunctions
Below is a list of frequently asked questions
so that minor problems do not spoil any of
the many entertainment features which your
headphones offer. Should you have any
further questions, please contact a
Mercedes-Benz Service Centre.
...the headphones cannot be switched on
Charge the headphones using the supplied
X
USB cable; see page 37.
...the sound quality is bad
Reduce the volume on the connected end
X
device.
Use the headphones at a distance from
X
microwave ovens, Wi-Fi devices, etc.
Reduce the distance between the
X
headphones and the end device. If
applicable, remove any obstacles between
the headphones and the end device.
...the touchpad does not react
To unlock the touch pad: press the
X
button twice briefly when the headphones
are switched on.
...the noise cancelling function is
insufficient

Make sure that the function for cancelling

noise is activated; see page 36.
Adjust the position of the ear pads so that
X
they fit well on your ears.

The noise cancelling function is particularly
effective in areas of low frequency, for
example in planes, trains, offices and in the
vicinity of air-conditioning systems. It is less
effective for higher frequencies such as
human voices.

If you use the headphones in a train or
car, there may be noise depending on the
road conditions.

The effect of noise cancelling may not be
perceptible in a quiet environment or you
might hear a certain amount of noise.

Do not cover the microphone (level with
the Mercedes star) on the headphones.
Otherwise the noise cancelling function
may not function correctly or there may
be a beeping noise (howling).
