5. MAINTENANCE AND TRANSPORTATION
5.1. Maintenance
Before cleaning and maintenance, the log splitter must be placed in maintenance mode.
- Turn off the motor.
- Move the control valve handle back and forth to relieve hydraulic pressure.
- Wear protective gloves to avoid hand injuries.
After performing maintenance, make sure all guards, shields, and safety features are in place.
Failure to follow this warning can result in serious injury.
Consult the engine owner's manual for engine maintenance.

After carrying out the cleaning and maintenance tasks, the safety devices that have been
