1. Contaminated refrigerant discharge tap

17. Open the contaminated refrigerant discharge tap.
18. Open the RED valve (LIQUID) of the external tank.
19. Open the BLUE valve (VAPOR) of the external tank.
Make sure the refrigerant is flowing by checking the liquid indicator below
the discharge tap.
The refrigerant discharge is complete once the flow of liquid refrigerant is no longer visible
through the glass of the indicator below the discharge tap.
20. Close the BLUE valve (VAPOR) of the external tank.
21. Close the RED valve (LIQUID) of the external tank.
22. Close the contaminated refrigerant discharge tap.
23. Disconnect the S coupler of the recovery unit from the BLUE valve (VAPOR) of the
external tank.
24. Disconnect the discharge hose of the recovery unit from the RED valve (LIQUID) of the
external tank.
Do not pour different refrigerants inside the external tank.
Refer to the safety sheets of the external tank and refrigerants for all the
handling and storage operations.
