9 – Troubleshooting
• Power does not turn on
Is the power cable firmly plugged in?
• "Disc Error!" appears
Could the disc be soiled? Clean or replace the
disc.
• Can't playback
Could condensation have occurred? If condensa-
tion has occurred, remove the disc and leave the
unit powered-on for several hours.
• No sound
Check the connections to your monitor system
once again. Also check the volume settings of
your amp.
• Can't record
• Check the connections once again.
• Check the recording level.
• You can't record on a playback-only CD. Please
use a recordable CD.
• A setting you changed is not memorized.
The CDR633 saves backup copies of your set-
tings whenever you change mode settings, how-
ever, the backup may fail if you turn off the power
immediately. Avoid turning off the power imme-
diately after making any change.
• Noise or static can be heard.
Please re-position the unit away from strong
sources of magnetism such as a television.
• Can't insert a disc
Take the disc out and press the
button to reset.Then try again.Never use
force to insert the disc into the slot.
