4. Dismount the bolt (M16 x 320) at the end of the ro-
tor.
5. Withdraw the rotor from the housing, see figure 7.
It is easy to dismount the rotor, if the shown spe-
cial tool (F) is used. The tool can be provided by
Kongskilde, sales no. 121 000 514. Rotate the rotor
clockwise simultaneously with withdrawing it from
the housing. On mounting of the rotor use the puller
for rotating the rotor, so that the driving-plate pin is
engaged into gear.

Replacement of rubber blades
1. Dismount the worn out blades.
2. Mount the new blades on the rotor. The blades are
mounted in long holes for height adjustment, see
figure 8. Do not tighten the screws in such a way
that the blades are deformed (tightening torque 8
Nm). It is recommended to use the shown special
tool (G) to secure that the blades are mounted in
the right height. The tool can be provided by Kong-
skilde, sales no. 121 000 696. The diameter of the
rotor with blades is: Ø395 mm. Only use original
Kongskilde rubber blades.

3. The most accurate solution is obtained, if the blades
are grinded into the right height and inclination after
mounting on the rotor, see figure 9.

Bearings for rotor
Before re-mounting the rotor, check and replace the ball
bearings for the rotor, if necessary. It is recommended
to replace the bearings in both sides simultaneously.
When the ball bearing in the transmission side is re-
placed, dismount the gear motor.
Mounting of rotor
Please note: Due to the design of the sealing ring (C)
being mounted in the middle of the rotor (see figure 5),
the easiest way to mount the rotor is to do it from the
gear motor side. It is therefore recommended to dis-
mount the gear motor and the end plates, so that the
rotor can be mounted from this side.
Be aware that the driving-plate pin of the rotor is en-
gaged into gear correctly (the driving-plate pin and the
hole shall be cleaned). Also check that the sealing rings
(H) at the bearings are working properly and replace if
necessary, as the bearings may be damaged.
Furthermore, all the special tools can be provided as a
combined kit, sales no. 121 000 492, which also con-
tains tools for SUC blowers and rotary airlocks.
Lubrication of bearings for rotor
The bearings are greased for life from the factory, and
do not require additional lubrification.
Cleaning
The gear motor must not be covered up. Keep it free
from dirt, which may reduce the cooling of the motor.
Lubrication of the gear
The gear is supplied from the factory with synthetic oil,
ISO VG 680. Check the oil level in the gear on a regu-
lar basis. Change oil every 20.000 running hours, or
latest after 4 years (at synthetic oil). At mineral oil, the
intervals will be halved.
Reccomended synthetic oil types are:
Castrol Alphasyn GS 680
Mobil Glygoyle 680
Shell Omala S4 WE 680
