If the cordless band file does not operate in this
matter, remove the battery and send the tool to an
Authorized Service Center.
Attaching the Additional Handle
Always work with the additional handle attached! Attach
the additional handle on the left or right of the machine
and secure. Attach the additional handle to the side
facing away from the sanding belt.
Turning the Sanding Head to
Operating Position
Loosen the locking screw using the hexagon spanner
and, if necessary and depending on the task at hand, turn
the sanding head. The sanding head must be positioned
in the permitted working area. Firmly tighten the locking
screw

Each time before you start work, verify that the locking
screw is sufficiently tightened to ensure that the sanding
head does not move. Otherwise, the sanding belt may
come in contact with the user. Loss of control can cause
personal injury.
Dust filter
Always fit the dust filter if the surroundings are heavily
polluted.
The machine heats up faster when the dust filter is fitted.
It is protected by the electronics system from
overheating.

To fit:
Attach the dust filter as shown.
To remove:
Holding the dust filter at the edges, raise it slightly and
then pull it downwards and remove.
Rotating Battery Pack
The rear section of the machine can be rotated 270° in
three stages, thus allowing the machine's shape to be
adapted to the working conditions. Only operate the
machine when it is in an engaged position.
Removing/Inserting the Battery Pack
Removal:
Press the battery pack release button and pull the battery
pack forwards.
Inserting:
Slide in the battery pack until it engages.
Use
Sanding Belt Replacement
1. Manually loosen screw and remove cover.
2. Pull tensioner arm backwards and remove sanding
belt. Refer to section,
3. Place the new sanding belt on the rollers such that its
direction of circulation (arrows on the inside of the
sanding belt) matches the arrows on the cover. Place
the sanding belt first on the drive shaft and then on the
roller on the sanding attachment.
4. Replace the cover and tighten the screw by hand.
