Thank you for choosing our coffee machine. Before using the appliance, and to ensure the
best use, carefully read these instructions.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of death, injury and electrical shock
when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with
the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and package. If applicable, pass these in-
structions on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions and
accident prevention measures when using an electrical appliance. We assume no liability for
customer failing to comply with these requirements.
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed.
• Read all instructions before using.
• In case of emergency, immediately remove the plug from power outlet.
• Check the voltage indicated on the rating label on the appliance does in fact match that
of your electrical system.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons(including children) with reduced phys-
ical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance mal-
functions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to author-
ized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
• Always unplug the appliance when not in use or before cleaning. Allow to cool before
adding or removing parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury, do not immerse cord, plug or
appliance in water or other liquid. Never clean the appliance or the power cord if those
are humid. Avoid touching the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners or similar
coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause a
risk of fire. However, if you have to use an extension cord, the cord shall be rated not less
than 2000 watts. Only use an earthed socket to connect the appliance.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven, metal surface.
Do not place the espresso machine near the edge of a bench or table during operation.
Ensure the surface is level, clean and free of water and other substances.
• It is normal for the plug to feel warm to the touch; however, a loose fit between the AC
outlet (receptacle) and plug may cause overheating and distortion of the plug. Contact a
qualified electrician to replace loose or worn outlet.
• Use the appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use or accessory attachments
not recommend by the manufacture may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Do not place anything other than cups for warming on top of the espresso machine.
• Ensure the portafilter is firmly inserted and secured into the group head before using
the machine. Never remove the portafilter during the brewing operation as the machine
is under pressure.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Hot water, steam, spout are hot. Danger of burning injuries. Do not put steam or hot water
towards the body.
• We recommend using cold, filtered water. We do not recommend the use of de-mineral-
ized or distilled water as this may affect the taste of the espresso and how the machine is
