Operation
Starting Operation
Observe correct mains voltage! The voltage of the pow-
er source must agree with the voltage specified on the
nameplate of the machine. Power tools marked with
230 V can also be operated with 220 V.
Dusts, e. g. mineral dusts, can be harmful to one's health.
Contact with or inhaling the dusts can trigger allergic reac-
tions to the operator or bystanders and/or lead to respira-
tory infections.
Materials containing asbestos may only be worked on by
specialists.
– Provide for good ventilation of the working place.
– It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respirator.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the
materials to be worked.
Gear Selection, Mechanical
The gear selector 1 can be actuated at standstill or
when the machine is running. However, this should not
be done while operating at full load or maximum speed.
Two speed ranges can be preselected with the gear selector
1.
If the gear selector 1 cannot be set to the end position at
standstill, turn the drive spindle with the stirrer paddle a little.
Switching On and Off
To start the machine, press the On/Off switch 6 and keep it
pressed.
5
To switch off the machine, release the On/Off switch 6 or
when it is locked with the lock-on button 7, briefly press the
On/Off switch 6 and then release it.
When not using the power tool, switch it off in order to save
energy.
Gear I:
Low speed range; when working with stirrer
paddels with diameters up to 200 mm.
Gear II:
High speed range; when working with stirrer
paddels with diameters up to 140 mm.
Lock the pushed On/Off switch 6 by
pushing the lock-on button 7 upward.
