Self-diagnostic Mode
Press and hold the power button for 6 seconds, the battery will enter self-diagnostic
mode and the LED light(s) will stay lit for approximately 10 seconds.

WHEN TO CHARGE THE BATTERY PACK
This lithium-ion battery pack is shipped partially charged. Before using it the first time,
fully charge the battery pack.
It is not necessary to run down the battery pack charge before recharging. The lithium-
ion battery pack can be charged at any time and will not develop a "memory" when
charged after only a partial discharge. Use the 5-LED fuel gauge to determine when the
battery pack needs to be recharged.
NOTICE:
A significantly reduced run time after fully charging the battery pack
indicates that the battery pack is near the end of its usable life and must be replaced.
All 5 LEDs will shine solid orange during self-diagnostic process. Refer to the section
"Self-diagnostic Mode" in this manual.
