The Tone Master Bassman amplifier uses massive digital processing
power to achieve a single remarkable sonic feat: faithfully modeling
the circuitry and 45-watt power output of an original-era Bassman
tube amp. Using a high-performance digital power amp to achieve the
headroom and dynamic range of a real vintage Bassman tube amp,
paired with the power and clarity of four Jensen® P10R alnico speakers
and a resonant finger-jointed pine cabinet, the result is tubeless
Bassman tone, volume and dynamics virtually indistinguishable from
the all-tube original. And with all these features, the Tone Master
Bassman weighs substantially less than an all-tube Bassman.
A. POWER: Turns amplifier on and off.
B. MUTE: Mutes output to speakers. When in MUTE mode, XLR line
output remains active for studio or silent stage use, and POWER
JEWEL (C) illumination changes from red to amber.
C. POWER JEWEL: Illuminates red when amplifier is on; flashes
between red and amber during power up, and illuminates amber
in MUTE mode (B).
D. REVERB: Adjusts reverb effect level. Reverb is bypassed when
control is turned fully counterclockwise. Reverb can also be turned
on and off using included two-button footswitch.
E. PRESENCE: Adjusts ultra-high frequency response to add a
special high-end "sparkle" to the final output sound.
F. MIDDLE: Adjusts midrange response.
G. BASS: Adjusts bass response. At higher volume settings, lower
this knob's setting to reduce speaker "flap".

Control panel features give guitarists a playing experience identical
to the tube version, with the modern addition of Fender's world-
standard spring-reverb sound. Additional features deliver modern
convenience and flexibility—including an output power selector for
full power and five attenuated settings, balanced XLR line output with
impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations, mute switch for silent stage
or recording use, USB port for firmware upgrades and, in a special
Tone Master first, an effects loop with footswitch-operated bypass.

H. TREBLE: Adjusts treble response.
I. BRIGHT CHANNEL VOLUME: Adjusts bright channel loudness.
J. NORMAL CHANNEL VOLUME: Adjusts normal channel
loudness.
K. BRIGHT CHANNEL INPUTS: Connect instrument here. Input 1
produces full sensitivity; input 2 has adjusted sensitivity (-6dB)
for slightly darker tone and cleaner response with high-gain
instruments. The bright channel produces extra treble boost
when the BRIGHT CHANNEL VOLUME control (I) is set at less than
60 precent.
L. NORMAL CHANNEL INPUTS: Connect instrument here. Input 1
produces full sensitivity; input 2 has adjusted sensitivity (-6dB)
for slightly darker tone and cleaner response with high-gain
instruments.
