REMOVING JAMMED STAPLES (FIG. 8)
WARNING
and the battery pack is removed before
removing jammed staples.
a. Remove the battery pack from the stapler.
b. Press the locking lever on the rear of the
magazine and slide the magazine backward.
c. Take out jammed staples that remain inside
the opening that staples are fired from.
NOTE: Driving the staples too deeply into the
material, excess debris, or jammed staples
may lead to a striker being stuck at its bottom
position. The striker can usually be returned to
its operating position by depressing the work
contact element against a scrap piece of wood
and squeezing the trigger. Refer to chapter
"RETRACTING A DROPPED STRIKER" further
in this manual.
LED WORK LIGHTS (FIG. 9)
The LED work lights will illuminate when the
trigger switch is depressed. This provides
additional illumination of the surface of the
workpiece.
The LED work lights will turn off within
approximately 10 seconds after the trigger
switch is released.
Always make sure that the
trigger switch is released
