To avoid battery fluid leakage, fire ignition and explosion, be sure to observe
the following points.
• Do not use the battery pack with other product than specified.
• Always use the provided AC adapter for recharging.
• Do not throw the battery pack in fire, heat, open, modify or solder it.
• Be careful not to drop the battery pack or apply a strong impact to it.
• Do not short-circuit the terminals with a metallic object, etc.
• Do not carry or store the battery pack together with a metallic object such
as a necklace or hair pin.
• Do not recharge, use or leave the battery pack under high temperatures
such as in a place near a fire, under direct sunlight or in a closed automo-
bile.
• Do not stain or moisten the battery pack or allow a foreign object to enter
it. (The battery pack is not waterproof.)
In case of fluid leakage, take the following action.
• If the fluid attaches to your body or clothes, rinse well with fresh water.
• If the fluid enters your eye, immediately rinse with fresh water then
consult the doctor.
Operating Precautions
To avoid malfunction, observe the following points.
• Ensure that the battery pack is attached securely to the player.
• Do not attempt to charge a fully-recharged battery pack.
• Store the battery pack in a place with temperatures from 15 to 25°C
which is not subjected to high humidity or soot.
