Defrosting the freezer
Unplug the appliance, open the door and remove the food from the freezer.
Store all food in a cool place to prevent it from thawing.
Clean the drain pipe (use soft materials to avoid damaging the liner).
Prepare the water containers for defrosting. (Be sure to clean the water pan of
the compressor room to avoid it overflowing onto the floor).
Allow the freezer to defrost naturally or use an ice scraper to remove the frost.
(Use a plastic or wooden ice scraper to avoid damage to the liner or pipe.)
You can also use an appropriate amount of hot water to speed up defrosting.
After defrosting, wipe away the water with a dry towel.
After defrosting, place food back in the freezer and turn it on.
Operational disruptions, storage and transport
Power outage: In the event of a power outage, even in summer, food can
be stored in the device for several hours. Only open the freezer door briefly
during a power outage. No more fresh food may be placed in the device.
Long-term non-use: The device must be disconnected from the power supply
and then cleaned. Leave the door open to avoid odours.
Transportation: Before moving the freezer, take out all the items inside, attach
the glass shelves, vegetable container, compartments, etc. with tape and
tighten the adjustable feet. Close the doors and secure them with tape. During
transport, the device must not be turned upside down, horizontally or shaken.
The inclination during transport must not be more than 45°. Do not hold the
door or hinges when moving the device.
Note: The device must run continuously after switching on. In general, the
operation of the device must not be interrupted, otherwise the service life of the
device may be affected.
