6. INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
·
It is compulsory for the machine to be earthed to avoid the
possibility of people being given shocks or damage to the
equipment.
·
The plug must be easily accessible once the installation is
complete. The use of extension cables, adaptors and multiple
sockets is not permitted.
6.1. INSTALLATION
·
Warning! The juicer weighs 35 kg. We recommend two people
carry the juicer. The best way to carry the juicer is with one
hand underneath and the other hand holding the juicer block
shafts. To do this, the bin and drip grill will have to be removed
and then the front cover and juicing block should be removed
[Fig. 21].
·
Place the juicer on a strong, stable surface.
·
Make sure the electrical voltage and frequency are within the
operating range of the juicer. See specifications plate [Fig. 22].
·
Plug it into a socket with an effective earthing contact, duly
protected by a 0,03A differential circuit-breaker. Do not use an
adapter to plug other items into the same socket.
·
We recommend cleaning all the components that come into
contact with the juice (cups, balls, squeezing tray, filter tray,
cutting blade and front cover) before using the juicer for the
first time.
·
Switch on the power [Fig. 19 (I=On, O=Off)]. If the oval display
or the Select and Play/Pause buttons do not light up, this is
due to a lack of power. In this case, make sure the juicer has
been plugged in to a power supply and that the switch is on.
When this problem has been resolved, the Select and Play/
Pause button remains on. This means that the juicer is ready
to start juicing.
6.2. MAINTENANCE
Exterior machine maintenance: Consists of just daily cleaning.
Also the machine requires to periodically lubricate the paddle
shaft [Fig. 23]. Always use grease for food contact.
Interior of the machine: After every 50.000 cycles, the inner ma-
chine guides must be lubricated and a full cleaning carried out.
