Status LED lights up red once, the vibration motor vibrates and the loudspeaker sounds
briefly:
A barcode could not be successfully transferred (reason: no Bluetooth connection or internal
processing error). The data that was read in is discarded.
Status LED lights up purple once:
A configuration barcode was read successfully. The settings are applied and the backhand scanner
is restarted.
In addition, if the BT setting "App mode" is active:
Status LED lights up green once, the vibration motor vibrates and the loudspeaker sounds
briefly:
A connection to the application has been successfully set up.
Status LED lights up red once:
Either the connection to the app was permanently interrupted because the active connection was
interrupted for too long (timeout), or an interruption in the app was detected (for example the
"Disconnect" button was pressed). It is also possible that an attempt to set up a connection was
unsuccessful.
5.7 2D shortrange scanner
A 2D shortrange scanner is integrated into the backhand scanner.

When the red scanner light is illuminated, a scan is being triggered. If no barcode can be detected, the
scanner light goes out again after two seconds without the status LED of the backhand scanner having
changed.
The scanner is optionally available with the ability to read DotCodes.
5.8 Proximity sensor
A scan can be triggered via the proximity sensor. A scan is triggered as soon as the configured distances to
an object are either exceeded or undershot. The undershot distance at which a scan is triggered can be
configured via barcode (see section 0 Configuration).
