5.9 BT-compatible short-range radio
A BT-compatible short-range radio in accordance with BT standard V4.0 is integrated into the backhand
scanner to transfer scan data as keyboard data with the aid of an HID service.
The backhand scanner is able to run in two different modes that can be set using a configuration barcode
(for further information about configuration barcodes see section 0).
BT pairing mode: The backhand scanner can be used like a normal BT-compatible device and
connected using the BT menu.
App mode 2.0: To use the backhand scanner, the ACD EasyToConnect 2.0 is needed in the
opposite device. For further information please refer to the software documentation for „ACD
EasyToConnect 2.0", respectively.
HasciDataService mode: To use the backhand scanner, the ACD HasciDataService app is required
on the remote device. For further information please refer to the software documentation "ACD
HasciDataService", respectively.

5.10 Status of the HasciSE LED in the docking station
The HasciSE is automatically switched off in the docking station. The status LED then shows the state of
charge of the battery.

The status LED shows a red light if the HasciSE is being charged. The LED shows a green light once the
HasciSE is fully charged.
