Blade Tracking Adjustment
(Fig. 7, 8, 9, 10)
Over time the blade may go "off track" - raise
too far above or drop well below the rim of the
pulley. Periodically check the blade alignment
on the pulley.
If the blade is more than 1/8" (3mm) above the
rim of the pulley (Fig. 7) or 1/8" (3mm) below the
rim (Fig. 8), the tracking needs to be adjusted.
1. Use the Socket Wrench 17 (included) to
loosen the Blade Tracking Lock Nut 7. Turn
the wrench counterclockwise to loosen the
nut (Fig. 9).
2. Use a flat head screwdriver (not included)
to adjust the Blade Tracking Screw 8 (Fig.
10). You can also use a coin instead of
screwdriver. Turn the screwdriver clockwise

of the tracking screw.
3. Set the speed dial to setting 1 (Fig. 1).
4. Insert Battery Pack.
5. Pull the trigger and allow the blade to make

the rim of the pulley. Repeat steps 2 and 5
until the blade is aligned.
8. Securely tighten the Blade Tracking Lock Nut
7 by turning the socket wrench clockwise
(Fig. 9).
NOTE: Only the driven pulley is adjustable and
