8. Press the on/off button (A) and let the appliance brew until the water tank (10) is empty.
9. Press the on/off button (A) to turn the appliance off.
10. Discard the descaling mixture and wash the glass carafe (5) thoroughly.
Tap water rinsing procedure:
11. Fill the water tank (10) with tap water up to the maximum capacity of 12 cups.
12. Place the glass carafe (5) on the warming plate (13).
13. Press the on/off button (A) and let the appliance brew water (without adding ground coffee)
until the water tank (10) is empty.
14. Press the on/off button (A) to turn the appliance off.
15. Discard the water from the glass carafe (5).
16. Repeat steps 11 to 15 at least 3 times to ensure the appliance is rinsed thoroughly.
17. Your coffee maker is now ready to use.
