AREA OF APPLICATION
The TORQUE LIMITER screw-in clutch was developed for screwing
in wood construction screws with the CATCH screw-in tool or a
bit adapter. It enables wood construction screws to be screwed in
securely with a predefined maximum torque in a single operation,
without interruption. This reliably prevents damage to the screws
by exceeding the insertion torque.
The user alone is liable for damage caused by improper use.
Generally recognized accident prevention regulations must be
observed. Please also make yourself familiar with the operating
instructions of the power tools into which you are inserting the
screw-in coupling.
COMMISSIONING AND WORKING INSTRUCTIONS
• Insert the bit adapter (6) or the CATCH into the tool holder (3)
and secure it with the three clamping screws (4) (A-C). Insert the
bit (6) and also secure it with the two clamping screws (D)
• Securely clamp the screw-in coupling over the machine mount
(1) into the chuck of a suitable drill machine (E).
• Screw in the screw (F). At the end of the screwing process, the
coupling disengages when the set torque is reached and remains
disengaged (G).
• By rotating the release sleeve (2), the coupling is engaged again
and is therefore ready for operation (H).
• The check of the releasing torque must be performed with a
calibrated torque wrench. The read value must match the preset
value (see release sleeve (2)). For this, clamp the machine mout
(1) of the screw-in coupling in a vise. Use the torque wrench with
a socket insert size 22 at the tool intake (3) to trigger the screw-
in coupling.
• The screw-in clutch is subject to a tolerance of +/- 3 Nm
regardless of the set release value.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• The following points must be observed to avoid personal and
property damage:
• Pay attention to secure footing
• Always hold the machine with both hands
• Wearing protective equipment (ear protection, safety goggles,
protective gloves, etc.)
• Only use handheld power drills/drivers without continuous
locking and with the corresponding auxiliary handle
• Fasten the screw coupling securely into the drill chuck
• Insert the CATCH or bit adapter securely and firmly into the tool
holder
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean and store the screw-in coupling dry after use.
• Lubricate moving parts regularly with dry lubricating spray.
SERVICE
Repairs may only be carried out by a specialist. It is therefore
strongly recommended that the tool is sent in if faults occur.
The tool may be returned completely at the sender's risk and
expense.
