CAUTION: Wipe off any spilled oil or fuel. Do not store, spill or use gasoline
near an open flame
CAUTION: Alcohol blended fuels (called gasohol or using ethanol or methane
can attract moisture which leads to separation and formation of acids during
storage). Acidic gas can damage the fuel system of an engine while in
storage. To avoid engine problems, the fuel system should be emptied before
storage (see chapter "Storage", further in this manual).
11.2
Starting the engine (Fig. 8+9+10)
Insert the full charged battery in the battery slot of the dashboard (Fig. 8).
Check the brake lever whether can be operated and stopped normally before each start.
Electric (Fig. 9):

Pull the brake/stop lever (2) towards the handle and hold it there.

Press the START button (3) until the motor starts to run
Manual (Fig. 10):
▪
Stand behind the mower. Pull the engine brake/stop lever (2) toward upper handle with
one hand. Place the other hand on the starter handle.
▪
Pull the starter handle out approx. 10-15 cm. Until you feel a resistance and then start the
engine with a sharp pull.
▪
Once the engine is running, put the starter rope into the rope guide.
NOTE: Due to protective coatings on the engine, a small amount of smoke
may be present during the initial use of the product and should be considered
normal.
NOTE: In cooler weather it may be necessary to repeat priming steps.
11.3
Stop engine (Fig. 11)
To stop engine, release the brake/stop lever, it will return to its initial position. The engine will
automatically switches off.
WARNING! The blade will continue to rotate for a few seconds after the
engine has stopped. Disconnect the spark plug cap if the lawnmower is to be
left unattended.
11.4
Self-propelling function (Fig. 12)

Self-propelling is controlled by pressing the drive lever (1), the clutch for the drive will be
closed and the lawnmower will start to move with the engine running.
▪
To stop forward motion without stopping engine, release the drive lever (1), the drive
control disengages.
WARNING: The lawn mower immediately starts moving. To stop the
movement, release the brake/stop lever (2). The engine will then stop
immediately.
