Solution
∙
Disconnect the device from the fence and switch it on again. If
the blue or violet LED lights up and the yellow or green LED on
the BARGRAPH flashes, the device is in working order. If not, the
device is damaged (contact the Service department).
∙
If using a battery, check that the polarity is correct and the device
is connected properly.
The battery voltage has fallen below 12 V. Replace the battery with
one that is sufficiently charged, or connect the device to the 230 V
mains supply.
∙
The battery voltage has fallen below 11.6 V. Replace the battery
with one that is sufficiently charged, or connect the device to the
230 V mains supply.
∙
Check whether the fence was suddenly placed under strain (fallen
branches, trapped animal, etc.) or the voltage was reduced. Correct
the cause.
The energiser was switched off manually, or the battery voltage has
fallen below 11.4 V and the fence was switched off automatically. This
is done to protect the battery from deep discharge (which destroys
the battery). Replace the battery with one that is sufficiently charged,
or connect the device to the 230 V mains supply.
Info
Until the battery voltage reaches at least 12 V, the red LED
stays lit.
Do not use any conventional cables for the fence connection. We
recommend the use of a high voltage cable (Item no. 32611).
∙
Follow the tips given in Section 7.3.
∙
Check whether the grounding rod is corroded. Replace corroded
grounding rods.
∙
Check whether the cables/connections are intact. Replace defective
parts.
