Step 6:
If the password is correct the camera will be connected to the NVR and the status will change
to green (the Status change to green takes around 1 minute). Do the same with all the
cameras. Once all the cameras are displayed with the status connected click the next button.
Note:
If the cameras are still offline after changing the password review the password. If the
problem persist it might be a network issue that doesn't allows the NVR to communicate
with the camera.
The Network Video Recorder only works with cameras under the same local network. Is
not possible to register, record or stream cameras from a different network.
The amount of cameras that can be registered on the NVR is limited to the amount of
channels from the NVR. Is not possible to add more than 4 cameras for the NVR-40 or 8
cameras for the NV80.
4.8. Cameras recording
The NVR will record video or snapshots according to this configurations.
There are 4 recording types:
- Continuous (green): The NVR will record continuously during the selected time.
- MD (yellow): The NVR will start recording only if motion detection is detected.
- Alarm (red): The NVR will start recording only if an alarm events is detected.
E.g. Internet disconnection, IP conflict, masking alarm, etc.
- MD&Alarm (blue): The NVR will will start recording only if Motion Detection or an
Alarm event is detected
By default the cameras are configured to record continuously 24/7 (green). Change the
configuration according to your needs.
