7.3- Disposal
When.disposing of your machine, remove
oil and
fuel
from
the machine,
and
be
sure
to
follow
the
local
regulations. Do
not dispose of
in/with
household rubbish

shim
washer
prevents damage
from
over-tighteuing

Loosen
the
gear
case
clamp bolt.

Remove the index
bolt
from the gearcase.

Side the gearcase
out
of
the
tube,
Using a grease
gun,
pump
lithium-base grease (about
10
grams)
into
the
grease
fitting
011
the gearcase
until
you
see
old
grease
being
purged
from
the gearcase
(Fig.HTl6).
Purged
grease
will
be
visible
in the
outer tube cavity.
Clean up
the
excess grease
and
then
reassemble
the
gear
case onto
the
outer
tube.
Make sure the index
bolt
fits
into
the
hole on
the
outer
tube.
Securely
tighten both
bolts.
2. Drain
all
the
fuel
from the carburetor
and
the
fuel
tank.
IMPORTANT!
AU stored fuel should
be
stabilized with
a
fuel
stabilizer.
3.
Remove the
spark
plug
and
pour about
3cml
of
oil
into
the
cylinder
through
the
spark
plug hole.
Slowly
pull
the
recoil
starter
2
or
3 times so oil
evenly coat
the
interior of tile engine. Reinstall the
spark
plug.
4.
Before storing the
machine,
repair
or replace any
wom
or
damaged
parts.
Make sure the
scabbard
is
ill
place.
5.
Remove the air
cleaner
element
from
the
carburetor
and clean
it
thoroughly with soap
and water.
Rinse
and
dry
thoroughly,
then
add
a
few drops
of
oil
and
work it
in.
Reassemble.
6. Store
the machine
in
a
clean, dust-free
area.
